Lake Cameron

Written By Nina

The children and teachers of room 3 went to Lake Cameron on March 1st , to untangle all the weeds from around the bottom of the flax plants. It was fun because as well as tidying, we got to explore the  environment and we found lots of places adults couldn’t get to but kids could! There were lots of insects that I call “clicky bugs.” We found a trampoline stick that we all liked jumping on. The piles of weeds was huge by the time we had all finished. Justin’s wheelchair got stuck on the way out of one of the places adults couldn’t get to but kids could and it took a while to get him out!

Hi Nina, It was great to read your post about Lake Cameron. It seems like a long time ago now. We should go and have a look to see how our flax is growing now. Do remind me next week and I'll try to organise a time to do it.
